Pick up was longer than expected with a pushy up sell, it felt like the counter staff were getting annoyed when i wasn't purchasing extras i didn't need or want.
They even tried to sell me insurance that was already included as they weren't checking the booking properly.
Rental car drop off signage was confusing, as the signs were blue and in plain sight when driving in to the airport, but they change to yellow small signs as you get near the terminal, so we missed the entrance and were taken back on to the highway. This added another 15 mins to dropping the car off so we were almost late.
Drop off staff were trying to move the car to begin cleaning etc while our belongings were still in it, luckily we were very organized or it would have been easy to leave something behind.

When I arrived on time to pick up my rental, Advantage did not have any cars. Instead I was told that there was a two hour "waiting list" and that they would call me when a car was available. The staff was nice during what I'm sure was a frustrating day for them, but ultimately Advantage failed at the one thing I counted on them to do: give me a car that I had reserved (and prepaid for!).

I initially booked an economy car so I was pleased to be told that the vehicle had been upgraded free of charge. However, unlike most rental agencies at Orlando Airport, I was not given the option of choosing my vehicle from a selection lined up in an aisle. The downside was that the vehicle that had been chosen for me was still being cleaned and after the 9.5 hours flight I had just endured I was not best pleased with having to wait. This was obviously apparent to the attendant who arranged for a clean vehicle to be brought round immediately and adjusted the paperwork very quickly. I was directed to the vehicles parking bay and, along with the contract, I was given a Pre-Rental Vehicle Inspection Form which would have allowed me to make a note of any defects before driving the vehicle (there weren't any). I was quite surprised to find that the vehicle I was given (VW Jetta) was a diesel. I drive a diesel vehicle in the UK so this was fine by me but I know they are not that popular in the US and some people would pointblank refused to drive them. During my four weeks with the vehicle it proved reliable and economical. The return process was extremely simple and well signed posted and took all of 5 minutes.

I was expecting a Toyota Camry.
The Outlander and other options were not an equivalent product.
At High way speeds the Outlander is noisy to a point you had to turn up the radio.
The vehicle was beat up and missing body parts. Upon arrival the car was filthy and I made the center wash the vehicle before I would accept it.
The Outlander had a 50% less fuel economy than the Camry expected.
This is a classic example of bait and switch to the consumer.
I NEVER RECEIVED A FINAL INVOICE FOR THIS RENTAL
The Advantage staff at the counter insisted that I need to buy their insurance despite of having super cover insurance and telling me that the police will fine me for not having proper insurance, after I denied he started showing a very bad attitude. I was given a smaller car, dirty and involved in an accident.
This is a second time having a very bad experience with Advantage.

Car dis not meet expectations. Was not a full size like I thought I was getting.
Windshield looked like it had tape on it.
1st. car was worse and had low tire pressure light on so the switch vehicles.
Also vehicles were diesel.
Overall, the car was good. It was not washed when I picked it up. The windshield needed to be cleaned on the inside as it was foggy and hard to see at night.
The staff at the counter was intentional misleading in order to get me to purchase additional things that I didn't need (ie. Fuel, insurance, EZ pass, vehicle upgrade, etc.) It was a terrible experience and I will be calling to be refunded on certain portions of the charges.
