“London—Cotswolds—Highlands—Isle of Skye—Edinburgh—York—Oxford—London”
About Easirent:4.0/10
Adding an extra driver costs £10 per day, which was not stated on the website. Only found out upon arrival. No Chinese-speaking staff at the counter; there is a Chinese service on WeChat, but it takes a few hours to get a response.
This is a shameless car rental company. The store employees are negligent and do nothing, tampering with the original rental agreement. The company supports them and even asks customers to provide video and audio evidence, arbitrarily charging customers. Complaints are ineffective and lawsuits are inconvenient, resulting in significant losses.
The British are absolutely unreliable, be very cautious when renting a car! I recommend recording video and audio during car rental!

The service attitude at the store was quite good. Although there was a small issue with credit card fees, it was waived after communication with the rental company. I compared the rental costs with a friend who rented from another company, and mine was significantly cheaper. During the rental process, a Chinese guy who rented a Mercedes also told me that the cars at this store were cheaper and in good condition. He even suggested I get a membership card, as he did.
Staff were slow and inefficient, even when there were 20 people waiting to rent a car. They threatened to force us to buy their full insurance by saying there would be no assistance otherwise. They charged the card without explaining the amount and were unwilling to explain why they needed to pre-authorize £1250. Their attitude was very unfriendly.
I originally booked a 7-seater car, but due to a flight delay, I arrived a day late and the 7-seater was no longer available. I had informed the customer service beforehand to hold the car for me, but the rental company claimed they didn't receive the notice or weren't clear about it. I had to switch to a 5-seater. The final car was a Volvo XC60 in great condition. Also, since I purchased full insurance from the third party, the rental company required a £1500 deposit, which would be refunded after the car is returned without issues. This wasn't clearly stated beforehand.
Acceptable. One key reminder is that unlike renting cars in the US, here the primary driver's credit card is required for the deposit, irrespective of whose card is used for payment. We overlooked this requirement and ended up having to buy full insurance on the spot for nearly £300.
Returning the car took a while, but picking it up was okay. They promised to give me a baby seat and said they'd discuss it with the manager, but I never heard back.
The service attitude was bad. They tried to sell me insurance when picking up the car and insisted on a £1500 deposit pre-authorization if I didn't buy it. When exchanging the car, they claimed that the scratches on the wheel rims were caused by me and demanded compensation. The rental location is far from the airport, which is very inconvenient. They gave me a smaller car, a Citroën, although I originally booked a large MPV like a Sharan or similar.
“Having a car is very convenient, especially for trips to the UK countryside. A small car is sufficie”

1. There was a discrepancy in the service, and I was overcharged by £152.01. Despite multiple attempts to contact them, I have not received a refund. 2. We were told there would be a Chinese-speaking staff member to assist us with the car pickup, but when we contacted them via WeChat at 9 AM local time, they replied, 'This Chinese service number's working hours start at 8:30 AM. Sorry for not being able to assist you during your pickup time.' We had to figure it out ourselves, which was quite frustrating.

About Easirent:2.0/10
There were only three groups of customers ahead of me, but I waited for over 30 minutes. One was due to a computer error by the rental company that tried to add insurance to the customer's bill. The other two groups couldn't communicate well due to language barriers. Another reason was that selling insurance took a long time. By the time it was my turn, I had lost my patience and didn't check the terms carefully.

The car model availability was random. I wanted to rent a Ford Focus but it was always unavailable. There were very few automatic cars. I ended up with a Korean car, a SsangYong. The first one had a side door that couldn't be opened from the inside. The second one was an old, beat-up piece of junk. Finally, I got another SsangYong which was just okay.
