First, there were only one or two people at the rental counter, so the waiting time was quite long. I was the fourth in line and waited for over an hour. Second, the various service charges during the process were annoying (more mentioned in other reviews). After charging me a 1400 EUR deposit for vehicle damages, I saw the car I was renting, which was covered in scratches. I immediately took a full video of the car (see attachment), went back to the counter, and the staff said that the video was not acceptable, they needed photos (deliberate difficulty?). So, I took photos and argued with her for a long time. Finally, she reluctantly noted the scratches on my rental agreement and stamped it. Third, after completing the paperwork, I found out that I wasn't given the car model I reserved. They insisted that I accept a smaller Kia. If I disagreed, the only option was a manual car, or I had to wait until an automatic one was available, with no clear time frame. There was no apology whatsoever, even though they knowingly downgraded my car model. This was deceitful! Fourth, the car key had a low battery, and on the fifth day, we had to press the key against the start button to start the car. We needed to search for a Kia store to replace the battery since the car couldn't start with the key. You can imagine my panic! I don't even want to mention my feelings further. Overall, highly not recommended!!

También comentar que para la devolución se portaron muy bien y la persona me esperó hasta que lo entregué, un 10 para ella.

Tiempo de espera para recoger el coche muy largo. El coche olía demasiado a tabaco, hemos tenido que comprar 2 ambientadores (con el ambientador normal de coches no fue suficiente, y compramos otro en spray) y se notaba que había sido limpiado solo superficialmente. Aunque en el contrato ponía que la política de combustible era lleno/lleno, nos entregaron un coche con 40% del deposito, y eso nos supuso un problema, ya que no conocíamos el consumo del coche y acabamos devolviendo el coche con más combustible de lo que tocaba.
Worst customer service ever, stood in que for 3 hours to pick up car. Un helpful staff, car was disgustingly dirty with tire pressure light on. couldn’t complain as I would have been waiting another 3 hours to get another one.
Centauro in Barcelona is not able to handle properly all bookings in effective manner. Pick-up times are more than 2 hours although it is known at what time clients should arrive. At the Drop-Off it was not possible to close the contract as there was a mistake in the system (manager inserted in the system that more kilometers were used than agreed). The car was unfortunately robbed and glasswindow broken. Centauro have not provided any explanation about the price of the new window that seemed to be at least twice higher than market price. Insurance details were not explained at the pick-up.

I arrived near closing time, there where more then 10 people and each person took 15-20 minutes to process. Despite the large queue only one employee remained and all the others left without caring about the customers. I had to weight ~2 hours until I got my car. The car itself was new, in great condition and I had no other issues with the company.
The car was fine, but picking it up was an absolute nightmare. I had no idea a rental car company could be this bad. When we arrived, there were maybe 15-20 people in line in front us. From the time that we arrived, to when we actually drove off the lot was literally two and a half hours. The young woman we dealt with at the counter was very nice, but the whole place was grossly understaffed, and her co-worker was strolling around like he was at the beach. Truly a dreadful experience.
I paid on way charge for the car from Barcelona - Valencia on QEEQ. But Centauro charged me extra for on way when I got to pick the car up. Case is on dispute with QEEQ and I will be seeking refund from my credit card company when I return to UK. As soon as we left Barcelona car engine management light came on, l continued with driving and it went. Hour later l lost power to the car, then stopped at hard shoulder and after turning car off for few minutes it worked. Anyway Centauro replaced the car next day but l lost a whole day. When we got to Valencia the office told me they need additional car so they will be keeping this car. Felt like being ripped off by driving car all the way to Valencia from Barcelona for free for them and they charged me well over €150, what a CON Company.

The wait time was too long. I was supposed to pick up the car at 1 PM, but I didn't get it until 2 PM. There were only two people in line in front of me.
None of our card would work during the pick up to pay the deposit( there were 2 different customers there having the same issue), the staff was saying if we buy an extra insurence from them then we will not have to pay the deposit. Also they said my bank card was a prepaid one which totally wasnt, it was visa debit card. Very unpleasant experience during the pickup. Everything worked at the end however. Drop off was really easy and straight forward though.
the location is far and hard to find. you need to drive between terminals, and than to find the minibus which after long wait, will finally take you to this far location.
after all this long way, you find the worst service i had in "rent a car" offices. I was told that there were sick stuff. but, on the return - i found the same situation. nobody to return the car to... and again... wait for a bus for the terminal......
i recommend to avoid it.
When I picked up the car, the right rear door had been hit. During my use, the right rear tire got a large 5cm hole near the rim, causing the tire to be completely scrapped. I had to return to the store to replace the vehicle and had to pay 500 euros for the tire compensation. Upon reflection, it's likely that the damage was caused by the previous collision on the right rear door. I only focused on negotiating the body damage and didn't notice the tire issue. Luckily, the tire completely deflated when the speed was not high. How do you evaluate this service? I even had to pay for the tire!

Renting through Centauro was the absolute worst experience I have ever had. Not only did we need to wait 90 minutes - the woman at the front desk told us we needed to have an international drivers license (which was not indicated anywhere) and then told us we could solve the problem by paying 250 euros and then tried to get us to slip her fifty euros outside to solve the problem. Extortion. Awful. Unbelievable that this happened in Europe.
