Service attitude was average, the return process was cumbersome.

The car was almost brand new. The shop is run by an efficient Indian guy.

I warn everyone, do not use Routes Car Rental. They are blatantly dishonest! It's a small rental company located outside the airport. When I went to handle my rental, there were hardly any customers, but the efficiency was surprisingly low. It took 2.5 hours in total, definitely not worth it. Not only is their service irregular and improper, but the few staff members I saw at the store appeared to be all South Asian and were dishonest, lying straight to my face. I had already purchased full insurance through the rental website, with the policy in both Chinese and English, but the staff claimed they couldn't understand and forced me to buy their insurance for over $20 per day. Even after speaking with the customer service rep from the rental website, they still insisted on selling me their insurance.

Reminding all friends, do not use Routes Car Rental! They are blatantly dishonest! It's a small rental company outside the airport. Not only is their service unregulated and unruly, but the staff I saw at the store all seemed to be South Asian and were dishonest, lying blatantly: I had already bought super comprehensive insurance on Zuzuche, and the policy was in both Chinese and English, but the staff said they couldn’t understand and insisted on selling me their insurance for an extra $20 per day. Even after I called the customer service of Zuzuche, they continued to push their insurance.

Excellent! I will choose Hertz again next time. Hertz locations are usually inside the airport terminal, making pick-up and drop-off very convenient!

The car was newer than expected, and it seemed the exterior and interior of the car had just been cleaned before the pickup, which was very good and not something to be taken for granted these days. Pickup was a bit long but probably the previous customer had some special issues which might not be the problem of the staff concerned. Some outstanding issue with the charges adjustment which are currently handled under the help of QEEQ Support Staff.

The outstanding issue was initially brought to the attention of QEEQ through the in-app customer support, but that seemed was not followed up. Subsequent email to the customer service was handled by QEEQ and a case was opened. Pending outcome, but appreciated the assistance from the support staff !!

The car was very new and clean. It was so new that it still had a strong smell, especially after being parked under the sun for a while, it needed to be aired out.

The store required us to purchase new insurance and didn't recognize the insurance already bought on the Zuzuche platform. After over an hour of communication, we finally contacted Zuzuche customer service back in China, but they still didn't acknowledge it. We had to pay for the insurance ourselves to get the car, and then seek reimbursement from Zuzuche upon return.

Routes did not give us the car we rented, they downgraded us saying the insurance we got doesn't cover the car that we ordered which was a lie. Additionaly, they did not allow for a G2 driver's license holder to drive which is also a scam. We should have been notified in advance about this limitation.

Staff at the counter was trying really hard to make me pay for the mandatory insurance coverage (25 dollars a day!), even if I showed that it was already included in the reservation. After a really long discussion a Manager arrived and in 10 seconds confirmed that it was already included...

Apart from the car being rather old, average cleanliness, and having several scratches, everything else was fine. The rental and return processes were quick.
