The service was inadequate. The car window was broken. I called and they said I could replace the car, but they made me go to two locations. When I got there, they said it couldn't be replaced and finally directed me to the airport location. The Chinese-speaking staff during the car replacement was nice, but the foreign staff had no expression and answered questions unenthusiastically.
Like: It was easy to get the car and returned it. Dislike: It was only one car on the lot so when they told me to choose the car I wanted there was only one.
The pickup point is in a quiet underground area near the Union Station, quite difficult to find. The staff was nice and upgraded us to a Dodge for free without pushing any insurance.
Front desk service was very poor. They tried to give me a car with a broken rearview mirror, then pushed a lower-quality Nissan. There were charges not mentioned by the car rental company, and contacting the rental customer service was difficult and unhelpful.
The car was in excellent condition, almost new with only 6000 kilometers. We originally booked a Camry, but it was upgraded to a business class vehicle for free.
The process was extremely slow. There were only three people in line, but it took nearly an hour. Customer service insisted on buying additional insurance, even though I had already purchased it. They had many excuses and insisted on buying more. If you refused, they showed displeasure. Additionally, I was charged an extra fee during pick-up.
Like: Sightseeing was great.... Loved Canada's Wonderland.... My kids enjoyed The African Safari as well as Niagara Falls.... Dislike: Only had one bad experience.... I went to the Rainforest Cafe in Niagara Toronto. The meal tasted great, then upon leaving I left my bag with some goodies on my table... I returned after 5 mins to find my bag gone and no one knew where it was... The people who cleaned our table did not see the bag and they were literally cleaned as soon as we left... I left my number with the manager but no one ever called to say if they ever found the bag.....
