There is no physical storefront at the airport. We booked the car for pickup at 5:00 AM, but the staff from the rental company did not show up at the arrival area with a sign as the instructions mentioned. We had to call them, and only then did they arrange for a driver to deliver the car. The driver seemed half-awake. It took us over half an hour to finally get the car. The car's condition was shockingly bad—an old, worn-out vehicle with over 200,000 kilometers on it, numerous scratches, a severely dilapidated interior, and unresponsive accelerator and brakes.
“Great service through QEEQ BUT NOT THE HIGHEST QUALITY AUTO RENTAL”
About Autounion:8.0/10
The car had not been properly serviced upon pick up. It was lacking in windshield wiper fluid and other fluids seem to be low as many indicator lights came on towards the end of our trip.
When I arrived at the airport, there was no pick-up sign as promised. I had to call before someone came, which wasted some time. The car provided at first was smaller than the one I had booked. When I requested the same model, the vehicle condition was quite poor. Later, I paid extra to switch cars, but after driving for a day, the tire pressure warning light came on, and I had to find someone to fix it myself. Moreover, the car was given with an empty fuel tank!
I rented the Rav4, the car was older than I expected but I rented for 1 week and had no mechanical faults, AC and radio worked well also.
After reading reviews I was worried I would have problems with my deposit being returned but I had no problems I got my refund soon as I returned the vehicle.
We agreed to be picked up at 7:30 am at Terminal 3 of the airport with a sign, but we didn’t see anyone from the rental company. We only got picked up at 9 am after contacting the booking platform. We purchased unlimited mileage, confirmed by the platform at $10 per day, but it turned out to be $15 per day at the rental counter. Although we had no accidents or damage throughout the trip, during car return, they claimed there was a mark at the bottom corner of the car door, which was hard to notice, and charged us $200. We felt it was intentional extortion.
The staff were very friendly. During the rental period, there was a slight scratch on the rear fender, but the shop didn't make a fuss about it. The car wasn't provided or returned with a full tank, and washing the car before returning it wasn't required.
