Very dissatisfied: 1. Extremely slow, took almost half a day to get the car; 2. The car they gave me was actually a Toyota; 3. I requested an automatic but got a manual; 4. They charged me twice for the same thing when I returned.
Due to a flight delay, I couldn't pick up the car on the same day. Despite communicating with QEEQ to reserve the car, I still got a smaller car the next day. The space was very cramped throughout the trip, and it was hard to fit all the luggage.
The rental process is straightforward, and the prices are much more competitive compared to other companies for similar vehicles. The car's performance is also very good.
Not a good experience: First, the location only has two staff members, and their efficiency is average. We arrived before 9 AM and were the first in line, but a long queue formed afterwards. Secondly, the car we received was not the Mini Cooper we reserved but a very ugly and odd Fiat Kugo. It was embarrassing to drive and hard to park. There were Mini Coopers in the garage, but no upgrade was offered. Thirdly, the garage is over 500 meters from the location, requiring us to drag our luggage, cross streets, and traffic lights for a 10-minute walk. The person managing the garage is part-time, so communication with the location was difficult. It caused me to make two trips back and forth, wasting 2 hours.
The staff was enthusiastic and patient. Our English was not very good, and they spoke in a very Italian way. But they were very patient and even wrote things down for us. The Milan airport return station is staffed 24 hours, unlike Hertz, which was closed when we went there early at 6 AM.
Extremely efficient and professional. The rental agreement clearly detailed the two minor scratches on the vehicle. You have the option to choose between full-to-full and Relax plans. We chose the latter, paid 90 euros for the fuel, which is about the same as filling up at an outside gas station! Great experience, it would be even better if they didn't require a credit card guarantee like Goldcar used to!
It's basically a shady place. They charged an extra 100 euros for no reason when returning the car. I was in a rush to catch my flight and didn't carefully check the bill before signing, mainly because I didn't expect such bad behavior from them. After contacting the rental company, they said it was too late to dispute since I had already signed the bill. I can only consider it bad luck. If you rent from this company in the future, make sure to carefully check the bill, especially in Italy, as both large and small companies can have such issues.
