HERTZ CAR RENTAL REVIEWS IN FRANCE

The Clio was a fine small car with very useful features such as Sat Nav, Cruise Control and clear display of speed limits.

The price was distinctly better than other agents were able to offer. I had to change dates and hire location - the cancellation, refund and re-booking were all achieved without fuss or difficulty.

I called the agency’s number on the contract to change slightly my pick up and drop off times but the automated system had glitches and I couldn’t make the changes. I wasn’t able to talk to a person and it kept sending me back to the beginning of the choices and changing into French although I chose the English version. I kept wondering had I had a bigger problem if the costumer service would have solved it or not.

pick-up processing was very good, we could choose a car between five different and were luck to choose one with automatic transmission.

All staff at the pick up were helpful, including the guys cleaning the cars. It was helpful to be able to pick up and drop off on the airport site.

Very Hard to join the office by phone. Easier by email but slow.

Was quite surprised and happy to get the exact car we rented (Mercedes Class A) and not a "similar" car. That was my most enjoyable car rental so far. Car was brand new and fully equipped.

During the rental period, the car key was stolen in a different city. The rental company demanded a 350-euro fine. Their internal processes were very slow, which delayed the delivery of the spare key. It took a full four days to send the key from Paris to Paris, delaying the return of the car. This caused the contract to expire before the car could be returned, and they charged a high extension fee of 129 euros per day for six days. Very unreliable.

The car rental company is good.

Although there was a queue on arrival the efficiancy of the staff and number reduced any wait considerably.

The car was worth the hire and the GPS pretty good as well.

I still need help here. There was a small scratch on the front driver's side wheel and I need to claim for the insurance but that process is not at all clear. HELP!

L'air conditionne de fonctionnait pas donc nous avons du revenir rendre la Renault Captur et en prendre une autre (une Fiat) qui s'est avere etre bien meilleure (air conditionne, carplay, camera arriere, consommation apparemment elevee et turning radius mauvaise pour une petite voiture). Donc au final c'etait plutot une bonne experience malgre le delais au depart.
