J'ai selectionné une categorie de vehicule type peugeot 3008 pour avoir un grand coffre et je me susi retrouvé avec une audi A3 qui n offre pas du tout les meme services.
When I got there to pick up the car, they told me they didn't accept the translated version of the Chinese driver's license. After negotiating for two hours without any results, Zuzuche urgently helped me book another car. I am currently negotiating this issue with Zuzuche after returning home.
Terrible car rental experience. Because of my poor English skills, I chose to rent through the platform. When I arrived, an Italian man at the front desk asked for a deposit of over 800 euros. I called customer service, and they said this amount was normal. In the end, an additional fee of over 2000 euros was charged, including insurance, vehicle upgrade, and some inexplicable charges that the platform cannot currently verify. Throughout the process, the Italian man at the front desk never asked if we needed these services! This is a scam rental company. Because of our poor English, we couldn't understand the contract at all. I believe they took advantage of this to cheat us. I advise everyone not to choose this rental company.
Terrible staff at pick up point...not info on car, rental agreement or about anything was given....they sat there as if they were only doing their job and answering on any queries. TERRIBLE & WORST EXPERIENCE
Europcar counter staff was curt and inflexible to the point of being rude. I arrived at 7:45pm for my 8:30pm pick-up. I had buffered in some time in case of flight delay and also in case there was a queue to pick up and inspect the car. Counter staff insisted that she could only start entertaining me at 8:30pm and asked me to come back 45 mins later. For Budget/Avis early pick-up for up to an hour was no issue, which seems fair because if the customer is late for pickup the rental company does not have to honour the booking so most people turn up early. In fact she had offered me an upgrade option which she could process immediately at 7:45pm without having to wait which means the 8:30pm was only a tactic to make me upgrade and not has nothing to do with their pick up policy. She also hinted on processing my booking slowly if I did not take the upgrade. The service level should be consistent whether or not I took the upgrade, this was highly unprofessional behaviour. I was also given a Fiat500L instead of a Golf when I saw that there were at least 5 Golfs when I left the premises. I felt treated like a second class citizen because I had not booked directly with europcar and they did not hide it. Will only booked with Avis/Budget in the future when using this app. Europcar clearly does not really respect EasyRentCars compared to other apps like trip.com or Rentalcars with this staff’s attitude, I sincerely hope that changes overtime when the app gains more market share. you could get the sense that the staff is only motivated to cross sell more add-ons and not deliver on what the app already covers.
I booked in Florence city center but failed to realize that they close at 12:30pm on Sunday. After a couple of hours of panic, my wife and I went to the airport car rental, after a few minutes, the staff managed to switch the pickup point to theirs and we were on our way. Very grateful to the staff are the Europcar rental at Florence airport, they helped us out a lot!!!!!!!
I am disputing my bill. I was charged for insurance I didn’t ask for, winter chains I didn’t get & for a slight scratch on one hubcap that’s barely noticeable, requires no repair or replacement. If Europe Car doesn’t correct these charges I will not be using them again.
je rends ma voiture au comptoir extérieur sur le parking et la personne en charge constate une rayure de moins d’1 cm sur le pare choc avant gauche de la voiture (rayure non mesurée à l’aide de la réglette généralement utilisée dans ces cas là). La rayure était sans doute là au départ, mais personne pour le constater à ce moment là… On me dit que la voiture était neuve, mais non puisqu’elle a 3500 km au compteur donc déjà plusieurs locations. Cette personne me dit pour finir : ne vous inquiétez pas, il s’agit juste de le signaler, vous n’aurez probablement rien à payer, signez ici.
Puis au comptoir dans l’aéroport, après 5 minutes de manipulation de l’ordinateur, une autre personne m'édite une facture de 273,30 euros. 273,30 euros donc pour une rayure de moins d’un cm. D’où sort ce chiffre ? Je ne le saurai pas. On me dit : mais monsieur vous avez signé, c’est donc que vous acceptiez le montant à payer. Un numéro savamment orchestré donc entre les deux protagonistes Europcar. Voici 30 ans que je loue des voitures dans le monde entier et jamais ça ne m’était arrivé et c’est tout à fait scandaleux.
voiture prêtée quasiment neuve. Bon service EUROPCAR (agents aimables et attente raisonnable). Cependant il a été difficile de trouver le comptoir de location et le lieu de restitution du véhicule (mal indiqué).
It was really easy from start to end! The pick up point at Civitavecchia from the cruise gate drop off point was very convenient (you should emphasize this). The explanation given to drop off at FCO at Block B, Level 3 was also helpful.
The service provided by the staff at Florence was excellent. I had originally booked the car ony till 18:00 but on checking with the Europcar staff at Florence, they let me return the car till 11:00 the next day.

Cobram taxas extras por tudo.
O local para retirada / guichê é péssimo ( VCE Airport ).
Me deram um ticket de estacionamento que não funcionava, e precisei voltar ao guichê para pegar outro...
Sinceramente, me arrependi, e só não devolvi o carro antes do prazo, pois não tinha como cancelar os hotéis que tinha reservado.

I was completely disgusted and annoyed at the service that I received from Europcar at Naples Airport and the staff are ruining the reputation of both Europcar and Easyrentcars.com!
I pre-booked and paid for a Fiat 500L or similar in full, weeks before I actually arrived in Naples. My request for such a car was specific as there were two adults, one 11 year old, a baby, one car seat, two large suitcases, one small suitcase, one holdall plus four small bags.
When i turned up I was told there was no Fiat 500L available and I wasn't offered something comparable OR better to compensate for this. Instead I was told I could have an Alfa Romeo Giulia for & Euros extra a day and when I declined, I was offered a Peugeot 208 that had so many bangs, dents, scrapes and scratches on EVERY panel, that it was only suitable for a scrapyard! It was also far too small and filthy! I was not even offered a discount on the price, compared to a Fiat 500L, even though the receptionist was only too willing to get an extra 7 Euros a day out of me for the Alfa Romeo. Any other reasonable firm would have considered renting me a better vehicle for the same price but not at Europcar Naples Airport.
However, once I complained they decided that their 'scam' wouldn't work and after a 30 minute wait...a freshly prepared Fiat 500L turned up and I was able to get on with my holiday. The Fiat 500L was in good condition and clean although it had a scuffed front nearside alloy. (I also discovered later on that during servicing of the engine, some one had left an engine panel off, over the oil cap and it was dangling dangerously close to the radiator fan).
Other than that the car was great. Unfortunately when I returned the car with a full tank of petrol as required I discovered today, that Europcar have added £46.12 to my credit card which i can only presume is for diesel and I have already been in contact with the Fraud Dept for my credit card! Apparently this is a commonplace scam of theirs!

Booking through Easyrentcars.com was straight forward and good (even if the price was a little too high for a week's rental of a Fiat 500L). But it was the best price for such a car at the time. i had no issue with the booking process, payment or downloadable information etc. however, the same cannot be said of Europcar at Naples Airport.
Hopeless dropping the car off, we just left it in the end. We had an issue with the first car and we had to get a taxi 1.5 hours back to the airport to pick up a replacement!
