Car did not have what we expected: Sat navigation & at least a backup camera - so was disappointing. However, we did manage with, & get used to, the beeping sensors. We used an app on our phone to navigate but could not plug phone into the car to charge so had to use a map - North Amrica phone plugs don't seem compatible with European plugs - would have been helpful to know!

Did not know anything about a Price Protector but platform work well.
The customer service tried hard to get me to buy insurance. They vaguely suggested that I purchase it. When I refused after realizing it, they initially said it was mandatory. They only canceled the insurance after seeing I was firm.
Very satisfied. After we informed the staff that we had already purchased insurance, they did not push any additional sales. Communication was smooth, and picking up and dropping off the car were both very easy.
Difficulty finding a petrol station and ran out of time. (Not their fault) Ridiculous that they charge a filling fee on top of the cost of the petrol. 22€ fee.

Probably would have picked another car. We got what we ordered, which is unusual. I blame James May! LOL
When I picked up the car, Europcar switched my booking from a Mercedes C-Class to a Skoda sedan. I didn't notice the exact model, but the vehicle might have been bigger. However, the driving experience was not as good as the C-Class! The worst part was that after giving me the keys, the staff didn't accompany me to inspect the car. I was careless and drove off without taking photos of all sides of the car. This led to a problem when I returned the vehicle. The staff inspected the car thoroughly and found a scratch on the right rear door, which I believe was an old scratch. Without photos, I had no way to prove my point. I ended up being charged 200 euros for a very small scratch by Europcar. Despite having bought comprehensive insurance from Ping An through Zuzuche, making an international call to file a claim and waiting for Ping An's response was a hassle. I suggest buying insurance directly from a local provider for smoother claim processes.

Overall a good experience. The only frustration was the insurance upsell to ensure a full coverage. QEEQ did warn about this but should provide the full coverage up front so that Europcar cannot do a further upsell.

Terrible experience, but why the extra charges??? My deposit had an unexplained extra charge of over 1000 yuan!!! The car was inspected at drop-off with no issues! The fuel tank was also full!!!
