I booked a Volkswagen Touareg four months in advance, but they gave me an Audi A6 instead. This is hard for me to accept, but I had no choice because there were no other cars available, and the rental company didn't provide any explanation. We are a family of five with a lot of luggage, so we booked a large car. How are we supposed to fit our luggage in a sedan? The trunk couldn't fit everything, so we had to carry two pieces of luggage inside the car, which defeats the point of booking a specific model. The website stated 'similar models', but giving us a sedan instead of another similar large car is unreasonable. Secondly, I paid 30% more for the Touareg compared to the A6. Why did they give me a cheaper car despite my higher payment? This lack of honesty affected our comfort throughout the 16-day trip. A better car with a higher price is acceptable, but a lack of basic integrity makes future bookings questionable, as paying a premium didn't mean getting the reserved car. This shows a complete lack of contract spirit.

Scam company. I rented a car for two days, and the bill shows I exceeded the mileage by 17,769 kilometers. They even sent me a bill asking for 8000 euros. They directly deducted my 300-euro deposit. I'm currently disputing this. Hopefully, the platform will support me.

Terrible! Everyone, be careful. This place is worse than smaller rental companies. They scammed us for extra insurance and a full tank of gas! Afterward, they tried to dismiss our complaints with a contract we never saw, and the signature was clearly copied and pasted! Never again, even if I can't find another car, I won't choose Avis!!!!

Arrived at the counter at 7:30, no early pick-up allowed, had to wait until the scheduled time. Normally, they close at 9 PM, but we returned the car early at 8:30 PM the previous night. The inspector was gone, so we were asked to drop the keys in the box. So far, no issues have arisen.

Arrived at the counter at 7:30 AM but was not allowed to pick up the car early; they strictly adhere to the pickup time. Although the office usually closes at 9 PM, we returned the car at 8:30 PM the night before. The inspection staff were not available, so we were told to leave the keys in the box. However, there have been no issues so far.

The overall process was quite smooth. We didn't get the Hyundai we booked, but a Volkswagen instead, which was still okay. The processing was fast. Customer service asked if we wanted to buy insurance, I said we already did, so they didn't push any further. Communication was fairly smooth. At the store, an €800 pre-authorization was charged to our card. Any fines or additional fees during the rental period would be deducted from this amount. However, I'm not sure how long it will take to process. I forgot to ask when returning the car. It would be great if QEEQ could help track the progress. Another incident was after refueling, the steering wheel locked and we couldn't move it, nor could we shift gears. We were scared, thinking the car was broken. The gas station staff couldn't help and told us to contact towing services ourselves. QEEQ customer service also advised us to contact the rental office. Other drivers at the gas station could only tell us what the dashboard indicators meant but didn't know how to fix it. While preparing to call for towing service, I searched for solutions on Xiaohongshu and managed to solve the problem myself. Almost lost a few hundred euros.

The car exceed my expectations and I decided to extend for another week and had returned it today. The entire process of registering and picking up the car at the airport was very smooth. Throughly enjoyed having the car even though I had use it to bring me from point A To B . I would have love to take the car for a long trip. The only negative side is when I decided to extend the car for another week , I had someone ( with an Italian accent ) on the other line which I could hardly understand her . Positive side , she tried her very best and was very friendly.

When I booked the car, it was supposed to be an automatic fuel car. However, the store claimed that the order did not specify automatic and fuel, and they offered an electric car instead. The rental company did not clearly indicate the user's requirements on the order. Although there were options to choose the model when paying, these were not reflected on the order. This misleads the user's requirements and does not match the reality. Overall, I felt deceived.

Service at counter was slow and not polite. I got a vehicle much smaller than I ordered. Then had to sign form that there are no scratches on the vehicle I never saw. Sever safety malfunction of front wheels swerving right. And to finish return is only at terminal 2 Frankfurt while no paperwork says it so.

This rental company is very dishonest. They swapped your car at pickup and the car was full of damages! When returning the car, they said everything was fine, and after signing off and leaving, they charged an additional 800 euros from the deposit for new damages. The damages noted on the inspection sheet were already there upon pickup! Luckily, we had photos as proof. Such behavior is really terrible! I highly do not recommend renting from this company!

The staff at DOLLAR reception was very friendly. After we purchased full insurance on the spot, they upgraded our rental car for free and carefully explained the precautions. The car we received had only been driven over ten thousand kilometers and was in great condition. We used it for 14 days, traveled over 2800 kilometers across Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic without any issues. We are very satisfied!

I rented the car at the airport. Since I didn't have a phone, I couldn't find the pick-up driver. In fact, the rental point is near the airport. You need to contact them in advance to confirm which gate you will exit from. The rental company has a large lot, and the staff are very nice. The pick-up process was also simple.

So I booked a mid size convertible only for them to try to give me a Nissan. When I swiped them the paperwork that it says Ford Focus Cabrio or similar I explained a non-Cabrio is not similar. So they spoke to the manager and came back with the only Cabrio keys they had. A Benz. I was satisfied to say the least.

Thrifty is a small company in Europe, with fewer models and locations. I booked an automatic Focus or a similar model, but when picking up the car, there was only an automatic Skoda Fabia available. Both the price and the space specifications are lower than the Focus, more on par with the Ford Fiesta. Also, when picking up the car at Frankfurt Airport, the staff said that starting from October 1st, winter tires were required and I'd have to pay an additional cost every day. Over 10 days, they charged me more than 160 euros. I initially thought this was a universal and mandatory rule, so I didn't question it, but later found out from the internet and friends that winter tires are only required from November onwards. I didn't need them from October 1st to 11th, and in fact, it was around 20 degrees Celsius in Germany during those days.

At the time of pickup, the rental company informed me that the rented vehicle was not available because the previous renter had not returned it. They didn't know when the car would be available. After waiting for several hours, the company's solution was that the vehicle was still not returned, so either wait indefinitely or switch to a manual transmission model (I originally rented an automatic) without a refund for the difference. I found both options unreasonable, so I decided to rent from another company. During the process of renting from another company, I was informed that the vehicle had been returned and was available, but this was already more than 4 hours past the scheduled pickup time.
