Budget didn't have any compacts, only large SUVs and sports a 2 door convertible. This was what was offered, so managed to make it work with two large suitcases. If you where really wanting a compact (size or extra seats) this wouldn't have worked for you

A mess at pickup. I went to the spot assigned to me and someone was loading the car I was assigned. A service person had changed car and given him "my" car. So I was given another car and had to eait for updating the system. Also they charged almost 300 USdollar for "fuel service". I rented "full to full" so this is a plain scam.
The counter staff at pick up and drop off were amazing. The que took about 45 minutes as there were alot of people wanting to pick up their vehicles. The team at Dollar worked as efficiently as they could to get us through quickly, they were super friendly and helpfulm

Reliable and honest site, would absolutely use them again. I could see pricing from multiple companies hiring out cars and could choose accordingly to budget and requirement.
Got a free upgrade at the counter, based on car availability. Excellent from start to finish. Couldn't have been more perfect. I would absolutely rent again, and certainly will in the future. 10/10
Avis was very professional, I've rented from them before and expect no less.

The platform was easy to use. The warning e-mails of steps to take were unnecessary for hiring in the U.S. though it may have applied for rentals elsewhere. With Avis, all I needed was my booking confirmation reference and confirmation that I took out additional insurance.
